چکیده

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is one of the most interesting respiratory viruses in world. This causes symptoms illnesses like influenza and imposes a heavy burden on medical services economy. However, studies RSV Vietnam are limited, while research has primarily been done before 2015. We collected clinical samples from severe acute infection (SARI) patients to screen for by real-time RT-PCR study their molecular characteristics. RSV-positive specimens with Ct value < 25 between 2017-2018 north were inoculated Hep2 cell line. The results showed that (22.32%) strains harvested inoculation procedure 18 A 7 B. whole genomes four representative sequenced Illumina iSeq 100. Phylogenetic trees analysis each subtype classified as two B sequences genotype ON1 lineage 1.2 BA9 respectively. These genotypes identified typical Vietnamese 2009-2012. Nevertheless, 2015 those this had significant differences G gene, 34–35 amino acids 4 Moreover, first genome since 2016 may give more understanding characteristics RSVs Vietnam.

Identification of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Genome in the Stool of a Child with Acute Gastroenteritis

Case Report: Some viruses have been reported to cause respiratory and gastroenteric infections simultaneously. In this case we present isolation of human respiratory virus (RSV) type B from diarrheal sample of a 12 months' child with acute gastroenteritis. Results: The results indicated the presence of RSV subtype B genome in all three stool samples. Moreover, no sign of co-infections with oth...

Virology and Molecular Epidemiology of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)

Human respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a ubiquitous virus of worldwide distribution and is the leading cause of infant morbidity from respiratory infections. By the age of two years nearly all children have been infected and can cause severe bronchiolitis and pneumo‐ nia in this age group (Hall et al., 2009). Nearly 100% of children in the USA are infected with the virus by 2 to 3 years of ...

What is respiratory syncytial virus (RSV)?

one of the most common causes of bronchiolitis and pneumonia in children under 1 year of age in the United States. It is a common reason for young infants to be hospitalized during the RSV season. RSV can also cause serious respiratory illness in older adults. Most healthy people recover from RSV infection in 1 to 2 weeks. However, infection can be severe in a few, usually among those who are a...

Epidemiological Changes of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Infections in Israel

RSV is the leading cause of lower respiratory-tract infections in infants and therefore demands in-depth epidemiological characterization. We investigated here the distribution of RSV types in Israel between the years 2005-2012. Clinical samples were collected from 11,018 patients hospitalized due to respiratory illnesses and were evaluated for the presence of various respiratory viruses, inclu...
